Pressfix Loco Range
This range of locos have been developed using very modern cad cam and cnc processes. The kits are complete with all that you need including motor chassis battery box etc. They are manufactured out of plasticard which has been machined to size, leaving small tabs that you can press out and glue with MEK . These models are then embellished with whitemetal detail, they are also complete with chassis wiring and switches etc.
IP Engineering Kate

This model is inspired by a hudson hunslet loco. It includes an exposed cast metal engine and a radiator with fan for superb detail. The direction control is by way of two side mounted slide switches, and batteries are quickly changed from their holder underneath the loco

Feanor
This is an actual prototype loco and is in use at the Leighton buzzard railway. It was built by Motor Rail and then bought by British Industrial Sands Ltd., Middleton Towers, Norfolk in 1956. Butre bodied in 2001 Motor Rail was a British locomotive-building company, based in Bedford. Formed in 1911 as The Motor Rail & Tramcar Co Ltd, they built petrol and diesel engined locomotives, mainly narrow gauge. During World War I over 900 locos were supplied for use on temporary military supply railways. The trade name Simplex was used from the early days; in 1972 the company was renamed Simplex Mechanical Handling Ltd.
In 1987 loco manufacture ceased, business being transferred to Alan Keef Ltd of Ross-on-Wye, who continue to provide spares and have built several locos to Motor Rail designs.
This model is complete and just requires glue and paint
